So, all administrative issues aside - I've deemed every Tuesday to be "Traveling Solo Tuesdays"... On this Tuesday and every Tuesday this year I'll be posting some of the best information you need to know about the joys of Traveling Solo. So every Tuesday look forward to reading about a particularly hip and happening destination and how you need to plan to get yourself there.
One of the best websites out there for traveling solo is called www.journeywoman.com... It's actually a site for women looking at traveling alone (don't worry men, you aren't forgotten). The site details lovely places to go, safety information and tips, affordable eats, cruises, etc. And it's truly a lovely site. I'm actually thinking of traveling solo perhaps in 2009. I discovered this site from one of my new favorite single and happy sites singleedition.com. And I can't forget www.quirkyalone.net which is another good resource.
So while I'm pondering over what featured destination for today here's some food for thought:
